I really enjoyed going to The Groom Room in Ames while attending college at Iowa State University. If you're looking for a great haircut and/or beard trim in a clean, professional, and friendly environment with a modern barbershop vibe, then look no further. Troy always did an excellent job, and he's always striving to perfect his craft. In addition to being an exceptional barber, Troy is also a real class act and a stand-up guy. The Groom Room also has a great selection of men's grooming, beard care, and hair care products. I can't recommend Troy and The Groom Room highly enough. Be sure to book your next appointment while you're there, as their schedule fills up quickly. And if you're ever in need of a movie recommendation or review, Troy can do that too.
