Solid spot for a sharp looking haircut and a great way to start your day drinking by a visit to the barbershop. Was my go to before I gave up and grew my hair out like a dirty hippie. I'll return again someday but until then I'll keep recommending it to my friends. Cheers!

Johnny, Kristen, and Pete give the best cuts in Chicago, and if you're going somewhere else, I feel sorry for your hair. I've been going to Pete's for 2y now and I won't go anywhere else. I've had my fair share of both commercial (Floyds, Great Clips, Etc) and also boutique (Blind Barber, Handcrafted Barbershop, Old Town Barbershop, The Public Barber) shops, and while the boutique shops are great they ALL pale in comparison to Pete's. It has a fun atmosphere, great music, cool memorabilia, and most of all personality.

Awesome staff and quality cuts, all while supporting a local business. I’ve had my hair cut by multiple barbers here and they are always consistent and good quality. When I can’t get in with my regular barber Michael, he makes sure to consult with the other folks cutting my hair to ensure a consistent cut. There’s a reason you don’t see staff turn over here - overall just good vibes and great service.

I had the pleasure of seeing T the barber, his hands are soft like an angel and he’s super lite with the clippers. He finished me off with a mini facial and a hot towel. Next to him was this female barber who goes by the name Barberella. I watched her give an awesome gentleman’s cut using only scissors. She also has really cool tattoos. I’d give rockstar barbershop two thumbs up. I highly recommend everyone go. All barbers and stylist are really good!!
